Flink Robotics is a fast-paced startup, out of ETH Zurich's Computational Robotics Lab, building autonomous robots that can handle any item - including ones they've never seen before. We're revolutionising material handling, from stacking boxes to sorting parcels and unloading goods. Are you a student or recent graduate eager to kickstart your career? We are looking for Mechanical, Electrical or Robotics Engineers to join our hardware team and apply their skills to hands-on robotics. Who you are • Eager to join a VC-backed startup and take on real responsibility from the start • Passionate about robotics, with a keen interest in working with physical products most of the time • Strongly motivated to get things done and get your hands dirty • Proactive, curious and a clear communicator (fluent English) What you bring • A Bachelor's or Master's degree (completed or in progress) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or robotics • First hands-on experience with physical hardware • Analytical, technical and problem-solving skills that you can apply to real-world solutions • Bonus: CAD experience and basic GD&T; prior robot builds or personal and academic projects (maker builds, competitions); electrical or PCB design experience; familiarity with Linux What you'll do • Design, assemble and manufacture new features for our robots, including our gripper • Integrate all components of the robot (mechanics, electronics, sensors) into a working system • Test and validate the hardware and help improve it based on the results • Support the hardware team in the further development and manufacturing of our robots Why join • An ambitious team building a product with huge potential • Cutting-edge robotics problems • Competitive salary and top-tier gear • Based in Zurich, working hands-on with the robots in our own workshop Note: We do not accept applications for remote work and are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
