Key Purpose of the Job: As part of our growing software development team, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Software Engineer II, Applications. The Software Engineer works on a wide and diverse range of projects including desktop and mobile music creation and host applications, plug-ins and virtual instruments. Familiarity with music technology hard and software will ensure that the Software Developer understands the technical requirements and challenges of our products and solutions. Essential Functions: • Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or similar education • Several years of working experience in application software development • Commitment to writing clean, maintainable code within an established architecture, following defined coding standards • Excellent object-oriented C++ programming skills • Experience developing with a cross-platform software framework • Experience implementing connections to remote server and cloud APIs • Proficiency with software development tools (Visual Studio, Xcode, Git, CMake, Jira / Confluence) • Fluent German and English language skills • Good communication skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work alone and as part of a team • Excellent time, task and resource organisation skills • Willing to take responsibility and be the driving force of a project Desirable Qualities: • Familiarity with a cross-platform software framework such as Qt or JUCE</l
