• 4–5 years of professional backend software engineering experience • Strong experience building and maintaining backend applications and services • Strong experience with Golang and/or Ruby on Rails (RoR) • Solid experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and/or MySQL • Strong understanding and practical experience with API design and development • Strong testing discipline, including unit and integration testing • Ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable, and well-tested code • Good understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms • Experience with Git and modern software development workflows • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment • BA/BSc/HND qualification
