1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using ApplyWorth, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use ApplyWorth.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ApplyWorth Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use ApplyWorth
- You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
- You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account
- ApplyWorth is a global platform, available to users worldwide
3. Your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password
- You may only create one account per person
- You must notify us immediately at hello@applyworth.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
4. The ApplyWorth service
ApplyWorth provides:
- A curated feed of remote jobs, scholarships, and fellowships aggregated from public sources
- AI-powered application tools (cover letter generator, essay writer, eligibility checker, and more) that use your profile to generate personalised content
- An application tracker to manage your progress
- A daily streak system and referral programme
Important: Opportunity listings on ApplyWorth are sourced from third parties. We do not create, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, availability, or legitimacy of any listed opportunity. Always verify listings directly with the issuing organisation before applying.
5. AI tools — important limitations
- AI-generated content (cover letters, essays, statements of purpose) is for personal guidance only
- You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before submitting it in any application
- ApplyWorth makes no guarantee that AI-generated content will result in a successful application
- You retain full ownership of content you create using ApplyWorth's AI tools
- Do not submit AI-generated content to programmes that prohibit AI assistance without disclosing its use
6. Data collection and AI training clause
By using ApplyWorth, you agree that your anonymised usage data (opportunity interactions, feature usage patterns, application outcomes you voluntarily report) may be used by ApplyWorth to improve the platform and its recommendation algorithms.
Your personal profile data (name, email, career goals) is never used for AI model training. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle your data.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access ApplyWorth's content or data
- Resell, redistribute, or commercialise ApplyWorth's content without written permission
- Create fake accounts or impersonate others
- Abuse the referral system (self-referrals, fake accounts for bonus credits)
- Attempt to bypass rate limiting, premium restrictions, or other technical safeguards
- Use ApplyWorth for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Upload malicious code or attempt to compromise ApplyWorth's security
8. Premium subscription
- Premium is available at ₦3,500 per month, billed through Paystack
- Premium grants unlimited AI tool uses per day (vs. 5 free uses per day on the free tier)
- Payments are non-refundable once AI tool usage has occurred in a billing period
- We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice by email
- Your Premium access remains active for 30 days from the date of payment
- We reserve the right to suspend Premium access for violation of these terms
9. Intellectual property
- ApplyWorth's platform, design, code, brand, and AI prompt systems are owned by ApplyWorth Ltd
- You retain full ownership of your personal data and any content you create using ApplyWorth's tools
- Opportunity listings are aggregated from public sources — all intellectual property rights remain with their original publishers
- You may not use ApplyWorth's brand, logo, or name without prior written permission
10. Disclaimers
ApplyWorth is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times
- Any listed opportunity is accurate, currently available, or legitimate
- AI-generated content will be suitable for any particular application
- Using ApplyWorth will result in successful job, scholarship, or fellowship applications
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ApplyWorth Ltd's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to ApplyWorth in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of opportunity, loss of income, or reputational harm.
12. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings
- We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice
- Upon termination, your right to use ApplyWorth ceases immediately
- Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of ApplyWorth after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
