The UNFPA Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) Membership 2027/2029 for young Tanzanians.

UNFPA is recruiting up to 15 young Tanzanians to serve as members of the Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) for the 2027-2029 term. The YAP is a platform that has operated since 2006 to engage young people in planning, monitoring, and decision-making on youth development issues. YAP members will work part-time and home-based, committing at least 16 hours per week to facilitate information exchange, represent youth voices in policy forums, identify emerging issues in youth reproductive health and rights, and participate in coordination meetings with UNFPA and stakeholders on topics including gender equality, sexual and reproductive health rights, and SDG implementation. • Aged 15 to 24 years • Demonstrated familiarity with SDGs, SRHR, youth leadership and engagement, human rights, and gender equality • Able to work in a cross-cultural team and environment • Good organizational skills and ability to work independently • Good interpersonal, networking, and communication skills • Willingness to contribute and work as part of a team • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, social media) • Available and willing to work voluntarily at least 16 hours per week for the duration of membership • Fluency in Kiswahili (oral and written) and English proficiency are an advantage • Strong passion for youth development • Active involvement in community initiatives and youth networks • Submit a motivation letter • Submit a CV • Submit a letter of support or endorsement from affiliated organization(s)
